we booked a 2 daes dae tour trip to mekong delta (dae 2) and cuchi tunnel (dae 3).

ok lets start frm the vietnam trip...on the 28th dec ( my dear sara's bdae), me n one of my gd gf...jovell...we went on a free n easy trip to vietnam...

im kinda excited...at the same time well..tt feeling u alwaes gt wen u noe ure away frm ur love ones and to sum unfamiliar country...u dunnoe their language,culture n the pple dere...n yes ur safety is an issue...

DAE 1

we wen on bugdet..The TIgerrrrr!!!!grrr...took the early flight..745am..we reached at 630am.check in our baggage had our light breakfast at hanis.we checked in early to window shop inside.so as usual the late birds..wen dey announced the laz call,we were practically running to gate 9 to board The Tigerrr!!! -" jo!!shit!the laz call alrdy....runnn!!!"

It was a 1 1/2 hr flight....wen we board the tiger everyone was alrdy seated to their respective seats...so yes we're the STARS-karats...we gt the window seat...

As soon as the flight took off...we start snapping photos and soon after tt...we're alrdy snoring at our own comfort.

Its a smooth landing...we waited 4 a while to collect our baggage n yeah!!welcum to vietnam!!Our hotel driver had alrdy been waiting at the arrival hall...how we noe he's our driver??coz he's holding the jovell che signboard...so we said hi...and he drove us to our hotell...on our wae to the hotel.im aldry feeling uneasy and the werd is juz 'shocked'..lifestyle and culture shocked...the traffic was extremmmmmeeeeelllyyyy bad ok....i meant serious bad...if msia to u is alrdy bad...vietnam is far more worst than anithing else...90% of the population is on motorbike...n so obviously u noe the ones on foot are the travellers.not many cars n taxis arnd....juz motorbike..motorbikes...motorbikes n more motorbikes...u cn be walking facing ur left and the nxt thing u noe 3 or 4 motorbikes are alrdy moving towards u lyk dey're gonna bang u...u cn be looking down for 1 sec to avoid a puddle and the nxt thing u noe wen u looking up a bike is lyk 10m moving FAST towards u...tt is how bad the traffic is...so we've gotta be brave...at the same time vigilant...not many traffic lights..so its a matter of JUZ cross the road...if u wanna b a mouse n wait till the road is clear den u cross??u cn juz wait dere and rot...n u noe...wen dey wan to cut in or change lanes...ermm...i doubt deres lanes...i meant..take over another vehicle or bike..dey JUZ honk...so the whole time wen u're on the streets u'll be hearing the honkings lyk 4ever...so if ure a vietnamese...if u dont ride a motorbike n honk at others lyk nobodi bizness...means ure nt a genuine vietnamese...hahaa!!ok so much on the traffic...

we reached the hotel at abt 10am...spore timing at abt 11am..dey're 1 hr behind time...n the hotel psn said the pple b4 us hav nt checked out yet...we hafta wait till 12noon b4 we cn check in....so no time to waste...we leave our luggage wif dem brought along our valuables and off to shoppp!!!1st stop...to fill our stomach...we search for at least nt the along the street food...so a 'cafe' it is...air-conditioned cafe bt wif smokers arnd u...thnks!i almost died suffocated gasping for oxygen in dere...read the menus...bla bla vege wif PORK...blabla bla noodles wif PORK...omg!!!im lyk shucks!screwed...i swear i dun wan to b a non-halal girl...so i had noodles wif vege...i mean seriously vege...sum weird leaves n taugeh!!!hahaha!!no meat ok no meat...it taste ok ah...sum ajinomoto n pepper n guess...the taste is still dere even so the clear is as clear as ur tap water..haha!vietnam is well-known for their soupy dishes wif sum leaves n their coffee...dey cn juz gif u a plate of leaves n taugey n u eat it wif the noodles...n their coffee...omg!!!i swear its better than starbux..coffee bean...gloria jeans...or where ever...its so nice lyk omg!!the taste is so 'melekat di dinding'...u drink it wif ice...perfect! a yes the whole cafe was drinking tt coffee...so i guess tts vietnam's specialty...n ever drink cums wif a complimentary chinese tea...cum to tink of it...healthy lifestyle eh...chinese tea...soupy2 noodles wif leaves..

2nd stop...ban thiang market...(i swear i cn nvr pronounce it right untill ive reached spore... "fat..its 'ben-thai' to pronounce it...nt 'ba-thai'..'batam'...or wadever it is..."

cheap bt expensive....nice and vintage....JUZ shop..n yes we almost drop the moment we reached back the hotel...close to bugis street..i tink even better than dat...coz we cn bargain n slash sum prices...lyk realli slash ok...frm 200,000 dongs..we gt it for 80,000 dongs?The key is JUZ go low...JUz slash the price...haha!

so we had to change sum SGD notes...or else we'll b begging on streets 4 the rest of the trip..

okie so...we slack for a couple of hrs or soo...n went out agn to hav our din-dins!we had our din-dins at dis bar restaurant..i had dis fish n chips..n joe had drumlets wif fries i tink...we were so looking fwd to have a gd meal....wen my fish (homemade tuna fried fish) and chips ( homemade deep fried potato) *stunned and blank*....so dis is their fish n chips...thnks!!!seriously (ikan tongkol)..tuna ok!my mum will luv it i tink...and jo's drumlets are lyk homemade fried chic drumlets too....nt crispy..its oily..its dark brown almost black...well we're too hungry to even complain..we juz stare at each other n our dishes n JUZ eat...Just man!

after our din-dins,we went to do manicure and pedicure...n yes..do our hair!!!jo did strips of red highlight...her first time act to put sum colours on her hair..so shes kind of excited...i coloured my whole hair auburn red and do strips of orangeys to bring out the colour...as recommended by the salonist...

it was bt 11++ close to midnight and were still on the streets...its kinda safe...the streets were still bz...

u noe tt night vietname won dis football championship cup...so the whole road was bz n chaotic wif motorbikes arnd swinging their national flag up and down the streets...ive nvr seen such free n easy celebration..n definitely u cant see any in spore....aper2 smangat patrotik k...

we head back to our hotel...i logged on to the net...and start sending emails to my love ones...its only the 1st dae...n am alrdy missing my fam,gfs and bf esp..badly...

hey hey...its time fer an update yoz...usual the routine...back n forth to n fro CGH 6X per wk...sounds hectic??!!overwhelming emotions - floods of angerism...tons of frustrations...the trend of dramatic patients...highly sick and irritating families...the blood sucking doctors...random laughters with nutcracking colleagues...that's life in ward 36...

Went to the zo00oo to sae hello hi to the wildlife species wif my love...the highlight of the dae is of coz our Mr.Omar the white tiger...haha!YEs its the in thing now in the zoo00...tt is y...we've searched high n low..went up and down the hill..making round and round several U-turns juz to see Mr.Omar...ohh boy!and lucky lucy, we hit the right timing...he's not lazing ard lyk most of the animals....he's alrdy up on his 4 paws crawling to n fro with his aggressive expression as if hes ever readi to jump and feast on his victim....awesome!bt i juz hav to swear at him coz we almost gt lost and gav up sweating in frustration (or at least only me)...juz to see him...we took lotsa pictures...will publish it in another random pictures entry..nxt we cab back to northpt to hav our lunch and catch a movie...beverly hills chihuahua...den played pool..which by right im suppose to win all the matches...well its alright..let the big head loser win the game...u noe we noe whos the champion...haha!*blush blush* awwwww.....

n yes!!im d0in nite duty again tonite!!yahhoooo0000!!!no drama patients...no collapse...let it be full hse tonite...bring all my patients to deep2 sleep...and lastly put all callbells to silent mode...i nid my lucky charm pluish!!!

Yess...im still up....tomorrow is my dae off and the following dae is my rest dae....dun get jealoussssssZZZZzzzZ!!!!!!!!

I nid a break....each dae at work i'll b working my ass out...half running almost flying up n down the ward...by the end of the shift im half zombie-fied...thnkz!

well again todae at work is another shitty dae....whole morning i dunnoe wad im doin...basically running stupid errands...making and answering phone calls one after another...fafa's occupation : The nurse aka The receptionist

I dunnoe wad the team drs in CGH had turned into....i so wanna throw my casenotes n IMRS n meds trolley n IVs at their face lyk rite now...they happily discharge patients clearing my patients from their bed w/o thinking wif who all these old n sickly patients goin bck wif?who gonna b the main carer...am i suppose to throw all their discharge documents at dem n expect dem to walk back home out of dis ward alone?n yes the next thing i noe dey're back in the ward again admitted 4 hip fractures -for the commonest reason...fall!!!

I juz hate to run all dis errands....follow up on discharge issues...making endless calls...updating endless anxious family members...run mini bt time consuming errands for stupid doctors....tt is wad ive been doin the whole morning...damn sick...i didnt even do my dressings,gave my meds n IVs....i feel so slow....so nt me todae....i rather change diapers for the whole wards whole morning rather than to follow up on all dis errands...coz dey realli sux my bloody blooodd!!!!!hahaa!!

Heeloo0 hi!!!ok todae at work my face realli cnnt draw readi....the dae was so sux tt....i nid a new werd...thnks!it was so sux tt until now...im at home...blogging still feeling the sucky-ness in me tt doesnt seem to fade since dunno how many thousand hours ago...it sounds dramatic but JUST!

I reaalli hate china women mega mega plus plus now....i realli hate dem tt i refuse to go near dem animore wads more to werk in the same team wif dem....dey juz make ur life miserable screw ur dae up n at the end of the dae making u feel tt dey r so right n ure the wrong and mean one..dey r so sux tt i swear dey cant even werk...dey juz noe how to boss pple ard...dey cant even cope until dey r so dependent on others...ok to wrap things up...dey r juz plain lazy china pigs...trust me wif dis dey reaalli r...plus dey r so rude, i wonder didnt their father mother taught dem basic courtesy and ethical manners when dealing wif public???damn....screwed up..i realli nid a new werd now...

Whheeeheee!!!im enjoying life indo00r and outdoorr....my post nite didnt gt home straight to slp despite feeling exhausted...i spent my dae wif my love...we watched high school musical 3...im was stoning in the cinema...lyk thnks....(muke tkleh draw senang ckp)close to six-ish,he left to work i went home...drop flat from 7-ish to 11-ish the nxt morning....tt explains my exhaustion post nite...haha

yesterdae was my public holidae...left house bt 3-ish to mit up wif my gf...guess its time to do sum catching up n lashing out...pheeeww!!it feels great...she's the best man...gt home expecting to eat out wif my fam...in the end both my sis wants to stay at home to do sum studying....(study kape!sae bye bye to book 4 me...)so i went out for supper wif my parents n my makcik n pakcik n my sedare...n guess wad he brought along his gf...my face cnnt draw again...(tkd partner kape aku!)lyk hello hi!wads up wif bringing gf to family outing man...well kiddish!i soo cnnt angkat...
